Bag checks just got a whole lot easier.
Trying to identify your plain black suitcase at the baggage carousel is an airport nightmare come to life.
Now behold, the perfect solution. Off-White and German luggage company Rimowa bring you a see-through suitcase for all your travels.
The collab features a pair of transparent suitcases, designed by Virgil Abloh, which will you set you back a good $1500. The cabin-sized case also includes a matching amenities kit, and dividers that rep the word ‘miscellaneous’ in Off-White’s signature typeface. As well, the bag features a TSA-approved lock, which will come in hand for, ya’ know, privacy reasons.
Abloh told Business of Fashion: “It’s like 3.0 of personalisation. It’s not just putting your initials on it but allowing another layer to come in play.”
The transparent suitcases will debut at Off-White’s upcoming menswear show in Paris.
