Ambush drops a utilitarian collaboration with Converse

Space shoes.

The first collaboration from Japanese label Ambush and Converse is here, and it takes the form of the Chuck 70 and Pro Leather in a futuristic, utilitarian style.

Ambush founder Yoon Ahn has drawn inspiration from the Converse archive. She was captured by Converse’s Extreme Cold Weather Boot, a rubber military boot first developed in the 1950s.

The boot is reimagined for the modern street style enthusiast, playing on two classic sport styles: the Converse Chuck 70 and Pro Leather.

The Chuck 70 features rubber layering and extra height, and bold Ambush branding on the heel. The Pro Leather is reworked into Yoon’s aesthetic with a black rubber upper, black laces, and a yellow Ambush branding on the heel.

You can shop the Converse x Ambush Pro Leather and Chuck 70 from October 23 here, as well as in selected stores.
