Question: Were Louis Vuitton’s new bags inspired by ear plugs?

Inspiration can strike anywhere.

Virgil Abloh’s first collection for Louis Vuitton has been revealed and, as expected, there are plenty of options in the way of bags and accessories.

But, as pointed out by everyone’s favourite fashion sleuths at Diet Prada, it looks like he may have found inspiration in some unusual places.

Features of the bags are reminiscent of door chains and foam earplugs, putting a fashion-forward spin on hotel doors and long, noisy flights.
