Because one size rarely fits all.
In a bid to introduce greater diversity to its platform, ASOS is enabling shoppers to view the same outfit across a range of different body types.
Rather than photograph a number of different models wearing the same outfit, the retailer is using augmented reality to demonstrate how clothes look on different frames.
The new feature is currently being trialled across the womenswear section in the UK, with plans to expand to its global websites and app.
It’s not the first time ASOS has been praised for its inclusivity. The retailer famously stopped retouching models’ stretch marks last year, and has carried dedicated Curve, Tall and Maternity lines for quite some time.
As if we needed another excuse for more online shopping.
