Bella Clark releases her sophomore jewellery collection ‘La Dolce Vita’

A treasure trove of romantic and youthful pieces.
Earlier this year we chatted to young jewellery designer, Bella Clark, about riding the bespoke jewellery wave taking over Melbourne.
Since then, Clark has been hard at work. She is now debuting her new collection of sparkly goods, which speaks to our child-like love of summer.
The young designer explains that her excitement of warm summer nights brought back childhood memories of going through her mum’s jewellery box and making charms for herself and her friends. She was inspired by this reminiscent feeling above all else for her new collection.
“La Dolce Vita is an expression of the sentimental power of jewellery as something more than a tool for self-expression. Wearing it can be symbolic, and the act of buying it can be as much a romantic gesture to yourself as well as to others,” said Clark.
The range includes a series of new and updated pieces, mingling silver and gold with lightly coloured precious gems for a fun, youthful appeal. A series of heart-shaped lockets, which can be can be customised and worn on a necklace or a sleeper, take centre stage.
With updates on the labels existing collection including new gemstone options for the Love Ring and Eternity Ring, and a new look for the Chain Earrings, the collection shows the true potential of the young designer. Not to mention new additions like the beaded necklace, and a selection of bespoke gold-plated or sterling silver hairpins.
In true Bella Clark fashion, the jeweller continues to craft her pieces by hand and to order in her Fitzroy studio.
