In the aftermath of ‘fashion’s Superbowl’, we’ve compiled a list of podcasts that scratch our fashion itch. Exploring everything from sustainability, the business side of the industry and noteworthy pop culture moments, if you have a penchant for all things fashion these podcasts are well worth a listen.

The Run-Through with Vogue

Hosted by Vogue.com’s Editor Chioma Nnadi and Contributing Editor Chloe Malle, The Run-Through with Vogue is a “short and sweet” weekly roundup of the latest headlines in fashion and culture. This conversational yet aspirational podcast mirrors Vogue.com’s biggest stories, weaving in interviews with the likes of Cara Delevingne, Florence Pugh and Serena Williams. Aside from an impressive celebrity portfolio, Chioma and Chloe also take us into the minds, routines and wardrobes of some of the industry’s most notable designers, editors and stylists.

The Business of Fashion

Delivered with an informative, journalistic tone, it tackles issues like artificial intelligence, activism and finance.

Every Outfit

Hosted by LA fashion writers Chelsea Fairless and Lauren Garroni, Every Outfit is described as “bitchy fashion commentary” where fashion and pop culture collide. I’d say that hits the nail on the head. The pair began with a shared Instagram account, made with the purpose of documenting every outfit from the iconic show Sex and the City. The page’s success landed the duo a book deal, and this podcast was born soon after.

Wardrobe Crisis with Clare Press

Clare Press is a Sydney-based journalist, filmmaker, author and presenter, and was Vogue Australia’s first ever Sustainability Editor. She created Wardrobe Crisis in 2017, a podcast about how we can make a positive impact on the future of fashion. Wardrobe Crisis, now in its eighth series, showcases Clare’s (and her guests) extensive knowledge of fashion, ethics, social justice and sustainability. In a tone that Vogue describes as “never judgemental or patronising”, Wardrobe Crisis introduces a new topic each week, from the first step on the supply chain to our shopping bags leaving the store.

Dressed: The History of Fashion

For those looking for something a little more than who’s wearing what these days, this podcast is a deep dive into how today’s fashion industry came to be. April Calahan is a Special Collections Associate for the Fashion Institute of Technology, while Cassidy Zachary is a fashion historian and author, meaning there’s no better pair to take us through the archives of style and culture and teach us how the industry has morphed throughout the ages.
