Burberry’s hosting a pop-up where you can customise your own trench coat

Create your take on a classic.
Few pieces of clothing are more iconic than the Burberry trench.
Now, the brand is giving you an inside look at the creation of its classic coat with a pop-up studio at Chadstone.
Customers visiting the space – modelled after the Burberry workshop in Castleford – will get a full run-down of the history and design of the trench.
That includes a look at the brand’s tailoring process and the speciality fabric used, which was invented specifically for the coats by Thomas Burberry himself.
While you’re there, you can also customise your very own trench with a choice of buttons, all reproduced from those in the label’s archives.
