The Row Pre-Fall 2015 is pure luxury
Loungewear, but not.
It would be an insult to call The Row Pre-Fall loungewear, but that’s precisely the aesthetic of the range.
Relaxed, oversized and fluid, the collection is a super-luxe interpretation of the old trackie combo – monochrome dressing included.
In an evident feat of tailoring, Mary Kate and Ashley (the duo behind the label) have successfully managed to oversize everything while still retaining shape. Pieces which should logically engulf the wearer sit cleanly. In true Olsen Twin fashion, they have successfully flouted the fashion laws of balance, matching volume with greater volume. But if anyone can execute that, it’s those two.
No doubt much of their sartorial success can be attributed to the use of luxury fabrics and considered colour, but the rest?
Pure Olsen magic.
