Shoes that shine.

Christmas is just around the corner and to celebrate the season of silver, gold, tinsel and twinkle lights, Converse has delivered a drop of sparkly shoes you’ll want to add to your wishlist.

Dubbed the Authentic Glam Pack, the collection features a bunch of classic Converse styles, including the brand’s old-school Chuck 70s and cult-favourite Chuck Taylor All Stars in hi and ox cuts, with both a platform and regular sole. And the best part? They’re all doused in glitter.

This collection is ideal for elevating a casual outfit without throwing off the balance, adding a subtle splash of shine to an otherwise tuned-down look or bringing some joy to your party outfit without compromising comfort.

Let’s meet the gang. First up is the 70s Glow-Up. The jazzed-up version of Converse’s retro-look Chuck 70s adds some shine to the shoe’s staple vintage ankle star patch and is available in two colourways: silver, black and egret or black, gold and egret.

Tough but pretty and melding a masculine aesthetic with a feminine touch, this take on the Chuck 70s gives big Glow vibes. Next up is Spotted. Amping up the noughties glam a notch further than glitter, the collection’s Spotted style brings an ultra Y2K fusion of sparkles and leopard print.

They come in silver and white, gold and white or black and silver and they’re available in hi, ox and platform styles with contrasting accents and an almost iridescent sheen.

Here just in time for the silly season, call this a gift to yourself – they’re sure to get a bunch of wear as your party outfits emerge from almost two years of lockdown neglect. Not to mention, Converse’s Authentic Glam Pack styles make a great gift option for any hard to buy for loved ones. Who doesn’t love shiny, new shoes?
