Don C and Converse team up for a second ’80s-inspired sneaker drop

Off the court.
It’s time again to amp up your sneaker game, because Converse and Don C are set to release five new pairs.
The second Converse EXR x Don C Collection takes cues from the initial revival of the EXR sneaker, channelling designer Don C’s love for basketball into a classic ‘80s silhouette.
This time, the iterations will centre around two different ranges – Animal, which celebrates the rivalry between predator and prey, and Metal, which draws inspo from the glam metal era.
Two colourways in both white and black are on offer from the Animal pack, also featuring a leopard or zebra-printed heel and matching laces. Alternatively, the Metal pack is comprised of a brighter, ‘80s-esque colour palette, including three sneakers with pyramid stud detailing on the side.
Along with the shoes, the drop also includes a lineup of apparel and accessories.
The collection will arrive at Converse and select Foot Locker and JD Sports stores on January 13.
