Dr. Martens is dropping a new shoe collab every month of 2020

Would it be excessive of us to buy all of them?

Over its 60 years in the industry, Dr. Martens has teamed up with more designers than we can count.

This year, the brand has invited a dozen collaborators on board for its latest collection, 1460: Remastered.

The collection will be a commemorative look back on the brand’s history, and with 12 silhouettes to drop throughout 2020, we can expect a new shoe every month.

Each designer involved will be delving into what Dr. Martens means to them. Working from the original 1460 boot — named after the date it was created, April 1, 1960 – they’ll reimagine the style with their own innovative design touches.

January’s release was in collaboration with A Bathing Ape (Bape) and featured two streetwear styles. The silhouette comes in khaki or black, with the black version sporting gold features and Bape branding.

For February, Dr. Martens worked with Belgian designer Raf Simons. The shoe will include Simons’ signature nickel rings and a Dr. Martens x Raf Simons embossed logo.

This limited-edition style is available now at Masons in Melbourne.
