Daniel Avakian AW15
Pretty phenomenal.
Daniel Avakian is back with his AW15 collection, Transcendence.
To give you a little rundown of his resume, the designer studied in Sydney and Florence, Italy, and worked with Giles Deacon and Alexander McQueen before launching his own label in 2007. After putting his label on hold to work on a few other projects, Daniel is reinvigorating his label with a collection that is absolutely to die for. We hate spouting clichés, but it’s true.
Transcendence is elegant and structural. Featuring leather and silk separates against man-style coats and lightweight knits, the collection is inspired by ‘60s babes Edie Sedgwick and Jane Birkin.

It’s a monochromatic colour palette with hints of turquoise and maroon. There are some pretty phenomenal pieces in there. We can’t wait to get our hands on it.
