Emma Mulholland “Cry Birdy” in Palm Springs
Cheeky galahs and swooping cockatoos up ahead.
Emma Mulholland continues to turn to Australian wildlife for inspiration, harnessing her penchant for the rich colour palettes and textures of our own backyards to bring us her signature loud-but-wearable clothing.
This time, she’s ruffling feathers with her Cry Birdy collection, combining Aussie bird inspo with John Waters’ “Cry Baby” in a 1950s style shoot from Palm Springs. We’re seeing vibrant Flaming Galahs and subtle Major Mitchells come through on silk organza and tartan sequin, shot by an ever-talented Cara Stricker.
The Coral Sands backdrop adds a touch of luxe to the feathers galore and stonewashed denim in Mulholland’s trademark shapes and silhouettes, imbuing the soft pink and muted yellow colour scheme with dream-like, bubblegum vibes.
Put the Australian coast in your own closet.
