faustine steinmetz AW 2014

faustine steinmetz is breaking our brains.

faustine steinmetz are breaking our brains with their innovative fabrics. Upon first glance the relatively young label works with varying cuts of denim, yeah? Wrong!

The “mouldable” fabrics are actually made out of dilk, copper and rayon and are woven by hand on looms. With the collection featuring jackets, trousers and skirts, the East London studio actually spin, dye and weave all their own fabrics. With some pieces taking over a week to make, a faustine steinmetz piece is certainly something special.
