Pageant’s Resort 18 collection is everything we’d hoped for
Let’s go swimming.
Yesterday afternoon it was Pageant’s turn to showcase a Resort 18 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.
Tunnel Vision was true to the aesthetic we’ve come to expect from the Melbourne label, with a mix of texture-focused designs.
Designers Amanda Cumming and Kate Reynolds presented a range of colour-blocked swimwear, matching denim two-pieces and sheer, netted dresses. Shapes were inspired by unusual environments, with both form-fitting and oversized silhouettes.

Pieces in fuchsia, electric blue and burnt orange injected some colour into the collection, while small splashes of lemon yellow, burgundy and dusty pink played into that warm, summer feeling.
The runway also showcased the label’s collaboration with former Crumpler designer, Adam Wood. The collab offers a selection of hi-tech, nylon backpacks, made for practical use and exploration.
