Butter and Puma team up to release limited edition kicks

Celebrating Arsenal FC’s first visit in 40 years.

Sydneysiders may already be familiar with Butter, the sneaker, hip-hop, fried chicken and champagne bar hybrid.

This July, the Surry Hills hub will be transformed into the ultimate football hotspot, teaming up with Puma for Arsenal’s arrival.

In case you hadn’t heard, Arsenal Football Club is headed Down Under for the first time in 40 years.

And in classic Puma fashion, the brand has created a limited edition sneaker to celebrate.

The iconic Puma Suede will come in a special red and white colourway. This time, it’s topped off with the Arsenal FC logo on its tongue and rear.

To kick off celebrations, Butter is giving away 50 pairs. With only 200 released in Australasia, it’s not one to sleep on.

The lead up to the games will also see Butter deck out its interiors in red and white, championing Arsenal’s team colours. Executive chef Julian Cincotta has been recruited to craft an accompanying special menu. We’re talking red and white doughnuts and fried chicken burgers in red buns, which are both available via UberEats FYI.

Butter’s in-store promotions will run until July 17, while its competition will end on July 14.
