Converse has dropped the comfiest line of basics you’ll ever wear
Essentials.
For most of us, the Chuck Taylor All Star is the first thing we associate with Converse. But this could be about to change.
Playing on everyone’s favourite trend of the moment, Converse has dropped an athleisure line that is sure to be the comfiest thing you’ve ever worn.
The collection centres around three values – quality, craftsmanship and fit – resulting in super soft (trust us, we’ve felt them) and durable basics.
The line of weekend-appropriate tees, hoodies, trackies and jumpers are designed to be layered and mixed. And, just like your fave pair of Chucks, they will get better with time.
As for the process behind the drop, the collection is made from 360-gram French terry, which is bound with polymide thread (it sounds technical because it is). All you need to remember is each piece is designed with comfort and longevity in mind. It’ll fade over the years, without compromising its fit.
Converse has thought about the details too, with muted nickel zippers, matte eyelets, ribbed binding and even a hidden phone pocket in certain pieces.
