Converse has re-released the pro leather ’76 in a vintage suede colourway
40 years in the making.
It’s been 40 years since Converse #blessed us with the Pro Leather shoe.
Worn by some of the more notable basketball players, the style has become synonymous with influential street style.
To celebrate the milestone, Converse is releasing the second drop of the Pro Leather ’76 in a Vintage Suede colourway. The shoe reintroduces the icon in its authentic form, featuring the simplicity of the classic made for today’s contemporary landscape.
The upgrade will also feature superior comfort technology, with the introduction of the Nike Lunarlon sockliner.
“The updated Pro Leather ’76 is our latest release that honours the DNA of the original icon while also delivering more comfort and a contemporary style,” said Vice President/Creative Director of Converse Global Footwear, Bryan Cioffi.
“By introducing innovative Nike technology to a timeless classic, we’ve breathed new life into the iconic court silhouette and made it available for a new generation of young consumers to fall in love with.”
The limited second release of Pro Leather ’76 will be available in two vintage sport colours, Grape and Grey, on the Converse website and select stores.
