Converse teams up with Maddie Riewoldt Vision, drops limited-edition Chuck Taylors

Shoes with a kick.

We’re all about fashion for a cause and this new collaboration from Converse is one we’ll happily get behind.

Released earlier today, the Converse x Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision limited-edition Chuck Taylor All Stars aim to raise awareness, as well as funds for Bone Marrow Failure Syndrome (BMFS).

BMFS is a potentially fatal condition that claimed the life of St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt’s sister Maddie, at just 26 years old. Although a relatively unknown condition, it’s one that affects many people. Up to 140 young Australians are diagnosed with BMFS every year and it’s feared that many more go undiagnosed.

From every sale of Converse’s MRV Chuck Taylor All Star, $20 is donated directly to Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision. These funds go to helping the charity’s national medical research strategy for the under-funded area.

The sneakers come in bubblegum purple and are available in high and low tops.

These cuties have a RRP of $100 and will be available on the Converse website, as well as selected Converse stores Australia wide.
