Design graduate, Anna Goswami, releases final collection made of fake nails

Nailed it.

This is the sort of thing that reminds us just how creative and imaginative you need to be as a fashion designer.

Anna Goswami recently graduated from Central Saint Martins in London, one of the leading fashion institutes in the world.

Her final collection? The one that showcases your talent before pushing you out into the scary world of fashion design? Made entirely of plastic fake nails.

How does one think of this, honestly?

The collection was inspired by ’70s photography and Anna hand-painted each nail. The result is a cascading effect that looks like matte sequin feathers. It’s phenomenal.

We’re predicting big things for this lady. She interned for Marc Jacobs, Preen and Phoebe English, but it’s clear that she’s got a very distinct point of view.

Nailed it.
