Gorman and The Melbourne Museum have just teamed up in the best possible way.
This morning, the two Melbourne favourites unveiled their collaboration on a new collection titled Geology. The Autumn 2016 range favours light and lush fabrics paired with Gorman’s usual vibrant prints.
Founder and designer Lisa Gorman worked closely with Museum Victoria’s Geosciences team to explore The Museum’s existing collection. She derived inspiration from the minerals, precious stones and a treasure trove of rocks that were found in their ‘Cave of Wonders.’
Gorman will be opening a pop-up store within The Museum and also showcasing the collection in a free runway outside the space.
This collaboration is a hybrid of fashion and culture, merging two icons to create a collection that dreams are made of.’
