Kacey/Devlin takes out the 2017 National Designer Award

A big deal.

Drum roll, please. The winner of the 2017 National Designer Award, presented by David Jones and supported by Harper’s Bazaar, has been announced.

And it’s Kacey/Devlin.

The Sydney-based label is inspired by the unconscious decisions we make, with each collection launched alongside a short film, allowing the wearer to engage directly with the pieces.

The label produces garments from locally-sourced sustainable fabrics and luxury wool and silk blends. 

Announced this morning at David Jones Bourke Street Mall, designer Kacey has received a business development prize pack valued at over $100,000.
