Maison Kitsuné has debuted a footwear line

What a time to be alive.

Maison Kitsuné is known for tailored basics and the cutest slogan tees ever. In an effort to mix things up, however, the brand has taken the leap into footwear.

The move comes as “a natural step in our development” said creative directors, Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, who then stated they “wanted to offer wardrobe essentials that were masculine and feminine as well as chic and laid back.”

Yes please.

The collection features four signature styles that favour clean, fine lines: one unisex penny loafer, one men’s lace up boot, one woman’s ankle boot and one Mary Jane pump. Each silhouette is made from Italian leather and is expected to become available in various colourways throughout the year.

Keep your eyes online for the collection drop, set to hit a screen near you on May 2.
