New Balance has dropped an iridescent 996 sneaker

Gahhh.

Put the words ‘iridescent’ and ‘sneaker’ in the same sentence and you’ve got us feeling giddy.

New Balance is the next sporting company to add an iridescent flair to its sneakers. It’s just dropped an update to its 996 silhouette in ‘Powder’.

The release sees a beige upper with textured detailing on the toe and tongue of the shoe. Of course, the heel tab is the element to write home about, with an embossed logo and reflective detail.

Keep an eye out for these babies at select New Balance stockists, however, keep in mind they are pretty pricey. A pair will set you back roughly $230 AUD.
