Nike releases Air Max Zero

The one before the 1.

For 29 years, Nike has kept a secret. A never-before-seen, pre-concept design that never made it past the initial sketch. Until now.

They call it ‘The one before the 1’.

The Nike Air Max Zero was the initial stroke of genius from which Nike’s name is forged. Without it, the Nike Air Max 1 would not exist.

At the time, then-designer Tinker Hatfield could not realise his design, simply because it was so advanced that it could not be made.

Twenty-nine years later, Nike designer Graeme McMillan has breathed life into the Air Max Zero and upped the ante even more by adding the latest Nike innovations.

To celebrate this epic release, Nike is hosting an Air Max Day Eve exhibition on March 26, where it will give away one pair of the coveted Air Max Zero. Registration is essential to secure your spot.

The Air Max Zero is available for pre-sale at the Nike Store from 8am March 22, and from select Nike Sportswear retailers from 10am March 26.
