Wheels & Dollbaby is celebrating 30 years with a live set from The Divinyls

Paying homage to fashion and music.

Wheels & Dollbaby is set to celebrate 30-years of iconic fashion next month, and it’s holding one hell of a bash to do so.

Since launching in Australia three decades ago, the cult label has rock ‘n’ rolled its way onto the backs of musicians such as Michael Jackson, Courtney Love and Amy Winehouse. So it is only fitting that its 30-year anniversary pays tribute to the relationship between fashion and music.

To close out Telstra Perth Fashion Festival, The Divinyls will reunite to play a show alongside a runway of W&D designs. The act will be joined by special guests Jack Moffitt and Isabella Manfredi from The Preatures – a pretty big deal as Manfredi is the first vocalist to perform lead with The Divinyls since Chrissy Amphlett’s passing in 2013.

“My job is to do Chrissy proud here,” said Manfredi in a statement, “but also honour the life of the songs and the original lineup.”

30 Years of Wheels & Dollbaby goes down on September 17 at the new Fashion Paramount at Crown Pyramid. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
