Its 23rd year.

After we ring in a shiny new year, we’ll be welcoming the return of the  Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, which is only a short three months away.

From March 1-10, you can spend ten fashion-filled days at the Royal Exhibition Building, where you’ll be met with a line-up of runways, industry summits, events and more.

Whether you’re a first-time goer or regular attendee, we’ve curated some handy info to help navigate next year’s fashion extravaganza.

2019 will explore a new Power To The Dreamers concept, which centres around empowering others through fashion. Expect unique variations of this theme across VAMFF regulars like Martin Grant, Akira, Camilla and Marc, Scanlan Theodore, By Johnny and Kitx. Welcome the likes of A.BCH, Sister, Double Rainbouu, LIMB The Label, Leo & Lin and Client Liaison Deluxe Line, who will make their debuts at the upcoming festival.

Also fresh to VAMFF is the introduction of the Australian Fashion summit held on March 8 which offers a packed day of discussions lead by a team of established local and international names.

We’d also recommend scoring your ‘ticks to the newest show, Runway 6 (presented by Fashion Journal). On March 9, be sure to catch a peak at the top design talent that Melbourne has to offer.

Another annual VAMFF highlight is the National Graduate Showcase, which will take place on March 7. This NGS is presented by Target, and supported by yours truly.

In between runways and industry talks, you’ll find us among the food and drink pop-ups, enjoying all the entertainment that The Plaza has to offer.

Tickets to next year’s VAMFF are on sale now.
