Australian interiors label Kip&Co has debuted its first apparel collection
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH KIP&CO
WORDS BY HANNAH COLE
Streamline your wardrobe and your home.
I’ve always wondered whether a cohesive style code could give me a more streamlined life. What if my interiors tied in ever-so-perfectly with my wardrobe, and vice versa? Could it eliminate brain fog, foster a greater sense of self and, of course, allow you to love the home and clothes you’re in?
The studies might not exist yet, but Kip&Co has given us the opportunity to trial this hypothesis. Launching its first designer edit, Sail Away, the renowned Australian interior label has introduced adult apparel.

It’s a move that makes sense for such a prominent brand – after all, fashion and interiors go hand in hand. One inspires the other. As co-founder Kate Heppell says, “Fashion was our first love, we’ve always got a thrill out of mixing vintage and designer pieces with bold colours and clashing prints”. It’s what directed the brand’s distinct interior style (we always know a Kip&Co rug or throw when we see one).
Reflecting the brand’s ethos of fun, comfort and colour, its debut apparel range is rife with bold prints made for a summer spent by the sea (or, you know, lounging around at home). All the ginghams and florals we’ve come to expect from Kip&Co make a welcome and joyful appearance.
Don a billowing sun dress in pastel check as you gallivant on the sand, or step into a sleek slip in a vibrant pink and orange. Alongside these items, there is a selection of printed playsuits, comfortable trousers and button-up blouses to round out the range. Made from supple French linen and silk, each piece is designed to mix and match, allowing the wearer to play with colour and silhouettes to craft a look that’s all their own.
Sail Away is a collection that inspires an easy, breezy approach to getting dressed. Personally, I think I’m onto something. With Kip&Co throughout my home and on my person, everything seems a bit more balanced.
