JD Sports is launching a womenswear pop-up

Words by Fashion Journal

Sportswear is not just for the boys.

All too often, sportswear and sneakers are marketed with only men in mind. But we all know women run like the wind.

To celebrate this excellence in women’s sports fashion, JD Sports is hosting a month-long activation zone dedicated to showcasing the best in the category.

The series will kick off this Friday, with Nike using the space to launch its women’s Air Force 1 Shadow. It will also bring in celebrations of the world-famous Air Force 1 franchise, including a new type of sneaker personalisation available to those who swing by.

The brand featured will then change each week throughout October, rotating through product launches from an excellent lineup. ASICS will show-off the dynamic Women’s GEL-Quantum 360 5, adidas Originals will bring its old-school court-inspired style to life with their Home Of Classics space, while PUMA will elevate its popular Cali model with a unique customisation experience.

For those keen to check it out, the space is situated next door to JD Sports’ existing store in Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall. It launches October 4 and is open to shoppers each weekend, with dates and times revealed via the JD Sports’ social channels.

All product on display will be available for purchase next door. And hey, enter here to win $500 to spend on-site.
