Sportsgirl drops empowering ‘Be That Girl’ campaign

Much more than just a campaign, Sportsgirl has launched an inspiring manifesto celebrating Australian girls from all walks of life.
Be That Girl centres around female empowerment and demonstrates that there’s no such thing as ‘perfection’. Instead, Sportsgirl’s out to prove it’s about being who you are, whoever that might be.
The campaign highlights the incredible stories of 12 unique Australians – including trans model Manahou Mackay, Paralympic Snowboarder Joany Badenhorst and activist Aretha Brown (who has graced the cover of FJ) – putting their stories front and centre.
By sharing the lives of these talented individuals, Sportsgirl wants to inspire others to feel confident, capable and strong – no matter what they’re trying to achieve.
Raw, real and free of retouching, the movement inspires women to throw insecurities aside and celebrate our authentic selves.
