Start your day right with Moda Operandi’s fried chicken and waffle slippers

In rather delicious news this morning, US-based footwear brand Del Toro has teamed up with Moda Operandi to release a collection called Foodie.
The drop includes velvet slippers emblazoned with some of the world’s greatest food pairings – bacon and eggs, cheese and wine, milk and cookies. For the more sophisticated, there’s also dumpling, fried chicken and waffles designs.
On the website, each product’s description also comes with a suggestion of when to wear the shoes, like during a hangover, at dinner or to Sunday brunch. For the millennials, there’s even an avocado on toast option.
The Foodies collection is available for pre-order now, coming in at $565 a pair.
