The North Face’s velvet raincoats are lush AF

An interesting ode to the ’90s.
On the list of impractical wardrobe buys, velvet raincoats may just be at the very top.
The North Face is dropping a ’90s-style velvet collection – the third capsule to launch under its Black line.
This time ’round, the collection sees five different styles in hues of Regal Red, Lunar Ice Grey, Cosmic Blue and black. As for the feel, think crushed velvet fabric crafted with the brand’s signature water repellent materials.
However, you’ll have to head over to the US to get your hands on the velvet goods. From November 28, the collection is set to land exclusively at The North Face’s Williamsburg Prototype Store.
