What people wore to the student runway at PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival

Best dressed.

Tuesday night marked one of the most anticipated runways of PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival: the National Graduate Showcase. Showcasing the work of 12 graduate designers, it was creative, conceptual and boundary-pushing in all the best ways.

It offered an exciting glimpse into the future of Australian fashion and as a longtime supporter of both the event and emerging designers, we’d say the future is in safe hands.

Beyond the runway, we were equally inspired. From sheer lace, trinkets and belts, to slouchy trousers, creative layers and pops of red, the street style had us taking notes. Luckily, FJ photographer Lekhena Porter was on the ground capturing the best street style on film.
