A week in work outfits with L’Oréal National Account Executive Imogen Livitsanis

“A good work dress is a must.”
It’s never easy trying to come up with a new series of outfit combinations for the working week. Instead of having a set uniform of crisp white shirts and tailored black pants (as much as I love both), an ever-changing schedule means every morning requires a new set of questions. Am I running around, or just sitting at my desk? Do I need to dress specifically for a project? And most importantly, will I be in the background of someone’s TikTok?

This week Imogen Livitsanis steps us through her working wardrobe. After completing the L’Oréal Graduate Program in 2024, where she rotated through marketing and commercial roles in the company, Imogen stepped into a new position as a National Account Executive on L’Oréal’s Chemist Warehouse team.
While most of us spend our weekday mornings staring blankly into our wardrobes Imogen’s corporate-inspired OOTD videos provide some much-needed inspiration. “It’s been such a fun creative outlet, especially since my role is often numbers-heavy,” she says.
A typical week for Imogen can involve anything from presentations and meetings with brands including Maybelline, NYX, and L’Oréal Paris, to after-work events. As such, her working wardrobe is a considered balance between comfort, style and versatility.
Monday
Mondays are usually my least meeting-heavy days, so I like to keep things more relaxed. This week, I wore a blue pin-striped shirt from Golden Goose with white denim jeans from Frame. I found both at Grace, one of my favourite Melbourne boutiques for workwear. It’s perfect for a day at the desk.
Tuesday
A good work dress is a must. It’s zero effort but always looks put together. Lately, I’ve been reaching for this white Manning Cartell dress, which has been perfect for those warmer office days. It’s lightweight yet still structured. I love pieces like this that make mornings easier – there’s no need to overthink, you can just throw it on and go.
Wednesday
Colour is something I definitely want to incorporate more of into my work wardrobe, particularly in summer. I got this baby pink set from Sass and Bide for my L’Oreal grad program graduation. We had a fun end-of-year ceremony to celebrate rolling off the program. I’ve since loved incorporating these pieces into my ongoing work wardrobe and the wide-leg suit pants are so comfortable.
Thursday
Whenever I have a presentation, I find that the right outfit can add an instant boost to my confidence. This particular blazer and pantsuit is from Kianna, a slow-fashion Australian label that does the most gorgeous tailored pieces.
Friday
Typically, on Fridays, I like to wear something that can easily transition from the office to after-work drinks. On this particular day, I had an event after work related to my content creation, so I needed a last-minute outfit.
Whenever I need a quick Friday night look, I’ll pop into Chadstone (their late-night shopping hours are a lifesaver) and I found this gorgeous set from Bec and Bridge. It’s comfortable, yet feels dressy and I can mix and match it with other pieces really easily.
Keep up with Imogen here.
