Wrangler and Better Beer have joined forces to create a summer-ready capsule collection

Essentials that will take you from the festival to the beach.

Australian summers bring a few things to mind, but an ice-cold beer and beach-ready denim are top of the list for me. Denim stalwart Wrangler feels similarly, and has joined forces with Australia’s favourite zero-carb beer brand, Better Beer, to create a capsule collection designed for balmy BBQs and days spent lounging at the beach.

Better Beer was co-founded by Aussie comedians, Matt Ford and Jack Steele (who most Australians will know as comedic duo, The Inspired Unemployed) together with their mate Nick Cogger – a health-conscious publican from Torquay.

The Aussie larrikin energy these two embody is very much present in this capsule collection, particularly in the items of clothing that are designed to conveniently house your tinnies. The Come Prepared Vest and Steezy Cargo Short, both in a khaki shade, have roomy, carpenter-style cargo pockets. The shorts pay homage to the glory days of surf and skate culture, with their dropped waist, super loose fit and longer leg profile that cuts off under the knee. 

If you’re after an uber-practical set for summer, pair them with the Come Prepared Vest, a fisherman-inspired vest resplendent with numerous storage compartments. Made in a mid-weight cotton, it’s a durable and comfort-focused piece that taps into the ever-popular trend of utility fashion.
