Time to get sweaty.

I’ve long been an advocate of a good sauna session. When the weather is cold, there’s truly no better place to be. Depending on where you go, it’s 45 minutes of phone-free solo time to read, meditate, listen to a podcast or stretch to your heart’s content. I’d go so far as arguing that it’s up there with a massage – it’s a chance to stop and reset, and you always walk out feeling like a fresher version of yourself.

For more perspectives on wellness, head on over to our Health section.

Plus, it can come with a range of health benefits. From aiding your respiratory system and reducing blood pressure to easing aches and pains and improving sleep, there are plenty of reasons to get sweaty. Find our favourite spots across Melbourne below.
