Despite the backlash, Netflix renews ‘Insatiable’ for Season Two

The internet has a lot of feels.
Netflix’s most controversial series, Insatiable, has just been given the green light for Season Two.
And the internet has a looooot of mixed emotions.
Responding to what is frankly just a terrible season announcement on Twitter (you can watch the very lame video below), there’s plenty of support for the new season.
But the backlash isn’t going anywhere soon either, with many confused as to why the show ever went to air in the first place.
are you kidding me? does no one care about creating good, positive content anymore?

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY!! asked for it!!@netflix why you gotta cancel all the good shows and bring back trash like this?— Nikhita Thomas (@PoopsyDScoopsy) 13 September 2018
To refresh your memory, over 100,000 people signed a petition to have the show axed within days of its Season One trailer, believing it’s narrative to be fatphobic, among other issues.
Season Two is slated for release in 2019. Check out the announcement below (if you care).
