The Ultimate Grilled Cheese
It’s not easy being cheesy.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 slices of the whitest bread you can find
- Salted butter
- Mozzarella cheese
- Cheddar cheese
METHOD
- Lightly butter both sides of each piece of bread
- To one slice, add a good grating of cheddar, then mozzarella, then cheddar again
- Top with second slice of bread
- Heat up a sturdy non-stick frypan on medium heat, grill sandwich for 3 minutes on each side until cheese begins to ooze and melt (it can sometimes be good to add a small weight on top to perfect amount of surface area on hot plate)
- Take toastie out, grate a small amount of cheese onto frypan, and top with toastie, pushing cheese into the sandwich as it oozes out
- Remove from pan, cover in butter, devour
