Our kind of dolls.

Barbie is celebrating International Women’s Day the only way it knows how: with a line of inspirational dolls.

Expanding its existing Shero line – dolls created with the likeness of female role models – Barbie has unveiled 12 new dolls.

Joining the likes of Ashley Graham and Ava Duvernay, US snowboarder Chloe Kim, Chinese actress Xiatong Guan and British boxer Nicola Adams have been immortalised in Barbie form.

Local hero Bindi Irwin also made the cut, and her doll comes complete with a detachable koala.

Following the Shero collection, Barbie has also unveiled an Inspiring Women collection, with another three dolls honouring Frida Kahlo, Amelia Earhart and Katherine Johnson (who recently chose not to take part in LEGO’s Women of NASA release).
