WORDS BY EVE OSWALD
Taking the world’s obsession further still.
Expanding its lifestyle offering further, Gucci has just opened a bookstore. And a trip to New York may just be in order.
Book lovers can browse a curated collection of eclectic texts, inside the newly-opened Soho, NYC space on Wooster Street.
The founder of underground bookshop (and NYC institution) Dashwood Books, David Strettell, was tasked with curating the store’s offering, which can be enjoyed among the very Gucci-esque decor.
Highlighting the relationship between words, images and style, the store houses a selection of niche magazines and rare prints, as well as books by fashion photographers. You’ll also find Gucci’s very own zine, Le Palace.
If you can’t visit in person, let us transport you through the gallery above. *Sigh*.
