A Melbourne exhibition is celebrating women who changed history

Girl power.

Thirty-five artists have created 35 original portraits of trailblazing, history-making women to raise funds for those fighting for gender equality in Cambodia and Nepal.

The exhibition celebrates the courage and contributions of women from lauded Mexican artist Frida Kahlo to Pakistani teenager Malala Yousafzai, as well as women much closer to home, including the first female Victorian Governor Linda Dessau AM and transgender Australian model Andreja Pejić.

Catch it from Friday November 25 to Saturday December 10 at Neospace Gallery, Collingwood, and will run for the duration of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
