Bombay Sapphire has announced the world’s first gin train
Get on board.
If there’s anything we could all get on board with, it’s gin.
And if you’re going to be in London this July, you can quite literally jump on board the gin train. Bombay Sapphire has announced the UK arrival of ‘The Laverstoke Express’.
The specially-themed train invites guests to immerse themselves in a multi-sensory experience that combines fine dining and gin cocktails. Diners will experience will be a 4D virtual reality tour of the history of gin, while they sip their way through a series of gin cocktails.
Topping it off, Bombay Sapphire has recruited Michelin-star chef Tom Sellers to produce an accompanying 10-course menu.
Expect the full royal treatment with virtual pit stops in Ghana, Tuscany and Java, in lush carriages with leather interiors. As each ‘stop’ explores the 10 different Bombay Sapphire botanicals, so too will each dish, matching every unique story.
The Laverstoke Express will run from July 17 to 23 at Bank Station, London. Sadly, the event is now sold out. But keep eyes here for updates.
