Research says people who love a gin & tonic are more likely to be psychopaths

We’re the exception though … right?

Uh oh. Researchers have found that people who enjoy bitter flavours such as coffee, dark chocolate and gin and tonics are more likely to have psychopathic, narcissistic and sadistic tendencies.

The Innsbruck University in Austria conducted two separate experiments where participants were asked to rank a long list of food and drink, before completing a personality questionnaire that measured psychopathic tendencies.

According to the author of the study, Christina Sagioglou, most people are put off by bitter flavours because we associate them with poisonous foods. But apparently fearless, thrill-seeking psychopaths are instead attracted to them. 

We’re the exception though… right?
