West Elm is holding a Pup Party in its Chadstone store

It’s a paw-ty!

If you’re a pooch owner with a penchant for homewares, we urge you to keep reading.

It’s just been brought to our attention that West Elm is hosting a Pup Party at its Chadstone store. And while, yes, that does sound amazing, it also sounds very dangerous for the nice furniture and glassware.

On September 2, customers are being encouraged to bring their dogs in-store for a day of pet-friendly shopping and activations.

Local pet brands – including Found & Hound and Sebastian Says – have been invited to set up shop inside the store and will sell a range of collars and animal-related homewares. The event will also see on-the-spot prizes handed out to the best-dressed and best-behaved floofballs.

Non-dog owning customers will have the chance to speak to representatives from Beagle Rescue Victoria and Pug Rescue about adopting a pup of their own.

If you plan on heading down (let’s be honest, why wouldn’t you?), West Elm encourages you to make use of the Canine Concierge to escort you into the centre on the day (from Carpark A).
