Phoebe Jewellery
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts under her belt, Phoebe Harkness is more than just a jeweller. Her designs range from minimal rings, to highly intricate works of wearable art. All pieces are one-of-a-kind, handcrafted from her studio on Chapel Street, Melbourne. Phoebe works with a range of high-quality metals and precious gems to produce unique pieces that can be worn on their own, or stacked for maximum impact. Each creation takes a different form, balancing a sculptural yet delicate aesthetic. If you’re looking to get your own creative juices flowing, she also does custom pieces. Phoebe will work with you personally, to create your dream design. Let your imagination run wild.

Paper Provision
Simple doesn’t have to mean boring. Paper Provision delivers minimal art prints with a chic, high-end aesthetic. The brand expertly toes the fine line between drawing the eye and enhancing a space. Influenced by fashion and pop culture, it delivers contemporary works with an emphasis on typography. Marble prints, graphic text and gold foiling work to elevate an otherwise understated aesthetic. Paper Provision only uses high-quality wide-format printers, while prints are designed to fit IKEA frames, as well as standard frame sizes. The result is a luxe look at a budget-friendly price.

Home Vibes Macrame
Home Vibes is sharing the art of macrame. The small business offers a selection of DIY kits and supplies, alongside completed works. The Home Vibes range includes locally-sourced driftwood for wall hangings, as well as a mix of unbleached ropes and soft, natural cottons. For those keen to get started, the brand also offers a Learn to Macrame program. Step-by-step video lessons will teach you to make wall hangings and plant hangers from home. Each Home Vibes piece is made thoughtfully over hours, with maker Krystle Luvis sanding the driftwood, polishing the copper and fastening the cotton by hand.

Nicole Black
Nicole Black’s artworks are an ideal solution if your living space is leaving you a little uninspired. The Melbourne-based artist is a creator of mixed media artworks that are defined by their vibrant colour and exploration of materials. Nicole’s online store showcases a range of work, varying from illustrated portraits to abstract watercolours, ink and oil paintings. They’re available to buy as small-run, high- quality prints on 230GSM giclee. If you’re feeling artistic, Nicole also runs watercolour workshops on a monthly basis from her studio space in Collingwood. The classes are a great introduction to the medium and cover basic techniques and application.

Little Lungs
Maddie Stock is the artist behind Little Lungs. Her digital illustrations intuitively capture the female likeness, inspired by beautiful women such as Lily-Rose Depp and Gemma Ward. Each work uses just a few lines and a single muted colour, showing the artist’s restraint. It’s proof that simple is sometimes best. Designs are printed on 300GSM gloss paper and a select offering is printed with copper foil. If that’s too delicate for your liking, we’re also sold on her Gangsta Wrapping Paper. Patterned with the faces of rap legends (get it?), the range includes Drake, Jay Z and Kanye papers.

All great artists have to start somewhere. The Unusual Pear is helping you with step one. The brand delivers DIY kits for weaving and spinning, alongside instructional videos and workshops to hone your newfound craft. There’s a beautiful selection of looms, tools and yarns, including those real chunky fluffers perfect for weaving wall art. They’ve got you covered there too, with bamboo hangers to display your creations. If that’s not enough incentive to start weaving, you may also want to pay The Unusual Pear’s Instagram a visit.
