Instagram is rolling out the shopping feature you knew was coming

Dangerous.

Amazing news for shopaholics. Bad news for your credit cards.

Instagram has announced a new shopping feature, so now you can stalk and buy from a designer at the same time.

Teaming up with 20 US-based brands, Instagram will roll out its new feature next week, allowing users to make purchases while browsing their feeds.

New ‘shoppable photos’ will enable retailers to tag up to five products in their images, which users can tap to view. This will unveil its price and description, as well as that dangerous ‘Shop Now’ link that directs users straight to the product link online.

Levi’s, JackThreads, Kate Spade, Warby Parker and Coach are among the lineup of Insta’s shopping partners.

Currently the feature is only available to iOS users in the US. However, in the instance that it does super well, it probably won’t be long until Aussies are Insta-shopping too.
