MTV is bringing back ‘My Super Sweet 16’

Spoilt teens are back, baby.

We didn’t really *need* another reality TV show to add to our already mounting list of things to watch.

But call this a pop-culture revival.

More than 10 years after its debut in 2005, the MTV series documenting the extravagant parties of privileged teenagers is coming back.

According to reportsMy Super Sweet 16 will be reborn in 2017, welcoming spoilt teens born post-2000 (crazy, we know) into the world of adulthood.

Unlike previous seasons, new episodes will also feature debutante balls, quinceañeras and other coming-of-age celebrations, alongside regular ‘sweet 16’ bashes.

With previous episodes featuring appearances by CeeLo Green, P Diddy and Ciara, we can hardly contain our excitement (and slight jealousy) over which millennials will be cast.

Bring on big budgets, luxury wheels and killer tantrums.
