The Ballarat International Foto Biennale has opened registrations for its Portfolio Reviews

Calling all budding photographers.

If you have a keen eye for art and are down for an adventure, read on.

Ballarat International Foto Biennale is calling for Portfolio Review registrations, giving budding creatives the chance to have their portfolio reviewed by some of the industry’s leaders.

The long-standing tradition of BIFB is an opportunity for both entry-level and established photographers to gain valuable feedback and constructive critiques of their work.

The reviews will consist of 15-minute face-to-face sessions with four industry experts in varying fields, including Artistic Director of Contact Photography Festival, Bonnie Rubinstein; Senior Curator at The Photographers’ Gallery, Karen McQuaid; and Senior Picture Editor at The Guardian, Bridget Coaker.

You can register here as an artist, professional or student.

The Ballarat International Foto Biennale will take place at the Art Gallery of Ballarat from Aug 19 – Sep 17. If you’re not a creative but would still like to get involved, you should check out the David LaChapelle exhibition.
