Wes Anderson has announced his next movie with a *very* Wes Anderson video

The symmetry.

King of symmetry and pastel tones, Wes Anderson, delivered us goodness overnight, revealing details of his next movie via, well, a movie.

While lacking the usual production quality of Wes’ films, the three-minute video is still giving us the ~satisfaction~ his symmetry accords.

It’s also giving us a glimpse of what we can look forward to with the next release, so it’s a win-win.

Seemingly shot on a webcam, the clip sees Wes reveal details of Isle of Dogs, his second animated feature following Fantastic Mr Fox

According to the video, the cast will include Bill Murray, Bryan Cranston, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Scarlett Johansson, Greta Gerwig, Jeff Goldblum, F. Murray Abraham, Harvey Keitel, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama, Koyu Rankin, Courtney B. Vance, Yoko Ono and Edward Norton, who’ll be playing the lead dog Rex.

As you might have guessed by the cast, it’s said to be inspired by a Japanese story.

The video appeared on fundraising site, Crowdrise, and saw Wes also announce a separate fundraising initiative. He is offering fans a trip London, a tour of the Isle of Dogs set and the opportunity to voice one of the dogs in the film.

…for $50,000.

Proceeds will go to the Film Foundation, Martin Scorsese’s non-profit initiative to preserve and restore movies.
