Converse are giving emerging musicians the chance to record at iconic studios

Converse have just launched the Converse Rubber Tracks program, which gives aspiring musicians the chance to record at 12 iconic studios across the world.
The studios will probably knock your indie socks off. They’ve got Abbey Road Studios in London, Sunset Sound in Los Angeles, Hansa Tonstudio in Berlin, Tuff Gong in Kingston, Jamaica, Greenhouse Studios in Reykjavik, Iceland, The Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, Avast Recording Co. in Seattle, Stankonia in Atlanta, Studios 301 in Sydney, Toca do Bandido in Rio de Janeiro, the original Converse Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn, and their newest Converse Rubber Tracks studio in Boston, which should open by the northern hemisphere’s summer.
This is insane.
You can register through their website to apply for this ridiculous comp. Applicants must be over 18 years old and are encouraged to submit a brief artist bio or description. You’ll also have to rank your top three studio preferences.
Converse are providing travel and accommodation to chosen artists who are more than 200 miles away from a studio (so 321ish kilometres) and they’re offering 84 recording sessions. 84. This is decent guys.
Registration is open until Wednesday June 24.
